What was written in review is all true. Nasib la. Saya pi cuba jugak. Memang mendapat. That staff looks like rude. At first feel like the staff suka push asking me bila nak check in. No worry la bila customer nak masuk. The staff just wanna show the basic cara to masuk hotel which is all hotel do the same way. Hence, I am prefer self check in hotel. After the check in they help angkat the beg to the room. Dah penat berjalan 1 Georgetown tanya dekat mana parking pon nak marah. Dah sampai, I tersalah order and they protect themselves nak salahkan customer memang mendapat la. I ask if there's any empty room staf laju kata full.but when I check in skyscanner ada room lain. I would like to booking another room for last minute untuk ajak another ahli untuk berkumpul satu family but once again. A little bit terrible. They only want Ic my mother, not the new one yang nak check in. Menyusahkan lagi kene turun hotel. The room cantik even sempit but I thought lantai mereka tak sapu. Kaki and sejadah jadi hitam. The room was not soundproof room.Can see the bantal kecik dengan sofa bed dah berbulu. They are so proud with the good rating from customer but once again, if they considered it as 4 star hotel, it is nonsense and I am very disappointed.

Everything is great,beside paip air toilet yang bocor 🤔.

Semuanya okay. Location depan 1st Avenue Mall. Jadi, nak makan semua ada. Restoran Makan Pagi pun dekat je. Suasana hotel tepi jalan, tak ada bunyi kereta. Cuma malam2 boleh dengar bunyi club malam. Bilik sebelah guna bilik air, hair drying, jalan kaki di corridor semua boleh dengar. Not soundproof la, tapi hanya review dr saya maybe customer lain okay. Bilik hotel cantik dan selesa, kelengkapan ada dan boleh request if ada yang kurang, staff sangat membantu.

I have been to Penang several times, but this has been my best stay so far. I will definitely book this hotel again in the future. The rooms are spotless, and the hotel staff is incredibly friendly and accommodating in every situation. ​I would like to extend a huge thank you to Mr. Logan and Mr. Kelvin for making my stay so enjoyable and for being so flexible when I needed to extend my stay at short notice. ​By the way, if you are looking for a quiet room, ask for one in the back area – it is very peaceful and perfect for relaxing, so don’t be put off by the street traffic out front. It is a very cozy place, and I highly recommend it!

Had a great time staying at Magazine Boutique Hotel. Nice hotel with a heritage building vibes. First, we were greeted by Kelvin during check in. Great personality and attitude, very good explanation from him about the rules and regulations. We felt very welcomed. Next, the room was great for it's price. Considering the location, closer to mall if you need something to grab. Walking distance to few popular breakfast spots around there too. Lastly, the service is great. The housekeeping did their job well. Overall, I really recommend this hotel for your stay cation in Penang. I had a great time and experience staying there 👍
