I once decided to enroll my child at this nursery and paid RM990 in advance. This amount covered the registration fee, monthly care fee, stackable bed fee, meal and activity fees, daily health records, monthly progress reports, and a yearly fee. However, before sending my child there, my mother had a bad feeling about the place. A mother’s instinct is always right, so I decided to listen to her and not proceed with the enrollment. I informed the owner and requested a refund. I wasn’t even asking for the full amount back — only a partial refund for things like the bed and meals since my child never even stepped into the nursery. But the owner refused. I tried calling multiple times, but he ignored my calls. At one point, I thought of making this issue public but decided to leave it to God. Now that this nursery has gone viral on Facebook for all the wrong reasons, I feel it’s finally time to share my story too. What’s even more shocking is what I heard from the staff. They told me they had to buy mineral water with their own money for the children to drink because the owner allowed the kids to drink untreated pipe water. The condition of the place is also extremely dirty and unhygienic — totally unfit for young children. And it turns out, I’m not the only one facing this. Other parents are also coming forward with similar stories of being scammed, neglected, and ignored. Parents, please be cautious. Nurseries should be a safe and clean space for our little ones — not a place of neglect and exploitation.
