Little Human Scholars has been such a blessing for our family. The teachers are warm, patient, and truly care for the children. My child looks forward to school every day and has grown so much in confidence and learning. We feel safe and happy knowing they are in such a nurturing environment.

My son has been attending LHS Pre-school for a year now, and he really enjoys it. I adore this school and its teachers. The teachers put a lot of work into getting the students involved and helping them grow in a very individual way. It has a very homey feel to it, and the student-teacher ratio is excellent! I have always felt very comfortable leaving him in their hands while I had to work. My daughter attended the same preschool, where she developed strong coping skills to get ready for year 1. Additionally, they also offer CCTV facilities so that we can keep an eye on the child throughout their time there. Thumbs up to Teacher Patricia and the team .

My girl have been going since she was 2.5 months old. Patrecia has always been understanding and supportive. I especially appreciate their flexibility in picking up at odd hours and the location. My daughter, who is now 4 years old, has been exposed to thematic learning and enjoys engaging in messy play with her classmates. In addition, during the week, there are taekwondo and Mandarin classes. The teachers and the kakaks are beloved by my daughter. She always enjoyed going to school each day. We have been promoting this school to our friends and have no regrets about bringing our daughter here! Maintain your wonderful effort, Teacher Pat and crew!

Honest review on LHS. School environment/facility - conducive for learning and play. Nothing fancy but enough to impress kids LHS staff and team - Putting good effort in ensuring kids have a good time at school School fees - Slightly on the high side. With the price parents are paying, offerings of the school should be more (my honest opinion and not being critical on this) Teaching method - My son had been with LHS since July 2022. Based on our observation, he doesnt progress much at the moment. Probably because he still doesnt understand the reason behind going to school. On this part, we appreciate if teachers can inform what is our son lacking(via twinklinc app probably) and what needs to be improved so that both parents and teachers could play a role in helping the child do better

I have two children attending Little Human Scholars — one goes here and the younger one goes to the playschool. It has been amazing so far (my son has been going to LHS since he was 3 months old; he’s now 4) and I highly recommend it. What LHS is: a) Caring, patient and passionate: Everyone (teachers, helpers, guards) cares and loves the kids with all their heart and are so attentive, cheerful and patient. They exude so much energy and positivity each day — even as you step through the doors! It’s clear that the kids feel it too as my son absolutely loves going to school. b) Understanding and accommodating management: Operating hours are relatively long (great for working parents!) and they’re very understanding when you run late. We also have direct access to the Principal (Patrecia) who has been an absolute superstar — she has helped us out in so many ways and has been extremely flexible in making arrangements for the kids. We are so grateful for this, especially during the pandemic. c) Great outdoor environment: There’s a lovely outdoor garden with a playground for the kids, complete with farm animals. I love that the kids can go outdoors and get some sun. Outside, they frequently organise outdoor games, water play (recently, a water slide bouncy castle!) and sports too. d) Always improving: We’ve been with LHS long enough to see the various positive changes and improvements that they’ve made. They recently introduced a helpful Twinklinc app where the teachers diligently upload photos and videos of the day’s activities — it’s so nice compared to before where updates were written in a book. I’ve also heard from my son about new play toys (basketball hoop, kitchen toy sets, etc.). It warms my heart to see how they continuously invest in the kids and in the centre. What LHS is not: a) It’s not a large kindergarten chain, so don’t expect everything to be run super smoothly and efficiently. For instance, there are sometimes no pre-existing SOPs for certain issues. But things can often be easily resolved by being proactive and maintaining constant communication with the teachers and Patrecia 🙂 b) Mandarin classes are part of the curriculum (and they’re working on offering extra afternoon Mandarin classes and other extracurricular activities) but if you’re looking to send your child to Chinese primary school, LHS will probably not be right for you. All in all, I feel a strong sense of community and positive energy at LHS. You can feel this when speaking to teachers, helpers and guards, and even during our interactions with other parents during drop-offs/pick-ups. It is by no means the perfect centre but what they may lack compared to very well-established kindergarten chains, they make it up with heart and love. And in the end, that is what matters to me most.

Worst school for kids... I had enrolled my kid who was 2 years 6 months at the time. My kid was initially crying like any other child would for 7 days. He cried for 1 week, but after that he was ok to go to school for 2 days i.e. the 8th and the 9th day.. The 10th day, he started hauling uncontrollably and the teacher had to callme and ask me to pick him up. I did that and on the 11 th day, my kid would scream for not going to school. I got worried and asked him plenty of times as to what happened all of a sudden since he got fine. After 2 days at home, my kid told my helper that one of the teacher at school had hit him. After few hours of trying to get him to talk, he told me the whole story how the teacher had hit him. (P.S. -My kid started speaking his mother tongue at 2 years). I quickly went and confronted the principal 'Patricia aka Pat' the next day and asked her in the most polite manner about this, not loosing my calm. She said she will look into the matter and respond back after asking the concerned teacher 'Vandana aka teacher V'. I didnt send him to school and waited for the chinese new year holidays to get over. Cut to -One day, Pat and the school owner called us and informed us that they will cut my child's name from the school since he is not adjusting well and was crying. When I asked Pat about the incident I had highlighted, she said that she didnt feel right to ask any of her teachers about it ..since Vandana old in the system and she might feel bad about that. I asked her to show the footage, to which she refused to show saying no point of doing it. Obviously, the school was scared after seeing the footage of their old teacher hitting my boy, and thought of removing my child from the school so that I don't create any scene later and didnt want me to tell anything to any other parents. On the top of it, they gave us a fee waiver for the past 7-10 days he spent in the school- which felt like a compensation to keep quiet on this matter. Later I told this story to many parents around my condo and I met a parent who had taken out her both children from LHS and had shared one of her worst experiences. She had caught the school bathing all the small kids together to save time(which is disgusting). When asked, Pat had apologised to that parent and covered up the story by saying that she didnt know that the helper may have done it and it wont happen again.. Fyi- --for both the incidents above, pls note they have a CCTV camera in Pat's room for every single classroom and the common area room which shows live footage of every single minute. There shouldn't be any incident like the above that Pat doesnt know about. So the school obviously knows and hid them.
