Citadines Connect Bertam Georgetown Penang

Had a fantastic stay at Citadines Connect Bertam Georgetown Penang with my family. The 2-bedroom unit was spacious, comfortable, and perfect for a relaxing staycation. We especially loved the complimentary 24-hour coffee and the unique breakfast experience, which included made-to-order options and free-flow sparkling wine. The hotel offers a great balance of comfort, style, and convenience, making it an excellent choice for families or friends looking for a quality getaway in Penang. Highly recommended!

First time staying this hotel . Room are very clean and comfortable. Location is perfect to walk around. Love the lobby coffee and child hood cookies. It bring the best of both worlds. Love this hotel very much. Private Parking is easy just beside the hotel just pay and park and walk to the hotel. Overall 10/10 . Happy , satisfied and breakfast is delicious and service is excellent and friend.

My family and I had a wonderful stay at Citadines Georgetown Bertam Penang. From the moment we arrived, the hospitality was warm and welcoming. The hotel itself was modern, clean, and comfortable, making it a perfect base for our trip. A special mention goes to Andrew and his team — their attentive service ensured that we were well taken care of throughout our stay. The location is excellent — centrally placed and just about a 15-minute walk to the vibrant mural arts scene. There are also nearby shopping malls, supermarkets, and lively cocktail bars, making it convenient for both families and travelers who want to explore the city’s culture and nightlife. Overall, it was a delightful experience, and we would happily return. Highly recommended for families and travelers looking for comfort paired with excellent service.

The hotel was in a great location. The staff was very friendly and helpful throughout our stay. We had a small but lovely room, which was always kept very clean. The breakfast was amazing! There was a great variety of options, including live cooking stations and fresh juices. Highly recommended! ⭐️

2.5-3⭐️ （後來想想還是不太滿意,所以改了評論） 出發檳城前找了很多飯店，最後選擇了這家新飯店 總的來說位置良好、大廳提供咖啡 住了第三天時 發現床單下面有上個房客遺留的拖鞋 打電話去前台請清潔人員處理 只有進來拿 沒有任何口頭上的道歉 然後 早餐加購時，價格錯誤最後退房時又再收錢 21.多馬幣 飯店櫃檯說當天的人可能是新來的 有點無言，後來飯店人員要招待飲料 我拒絕了 總體來說 以這個明顯比其他同級飯店貴的價位來說 對該飯店的服務感到😕

Lovely hotel on the edge of town and easy walking distance to everything. |The hotel and rooms are immaculate.|The breakfast was nice albeit sometimes the eggs are cold but still delicious.|I would say the rooms could do with a couple of adjustments (There is only one bedside and charging point one one side of the bed so nowhere to put your morning coffee) Only a slight issue but thought worth the feedback.|Apart from that, everything was amazing and all the staff happy to help and assist in any way they could.

Walked in and booked a room. Front line staff are very pleasant and accommodating. The rooms fall short though, and the rooms are the most important part of our stay. First room (D238) we were given had been strongly sprayed, and when I went into the bathroom I could smell stale cigarette smoke 🤮, we went down to the front desk and they switched us to another room (D233). We were escorted to our room to make sure everything was alright, there was a mosquito flying around in the room as soon as I entered. I went straight to the bed to pull back the covers and found a large stain where they expected us to sleep (see picture) 🤮🤮. They had us wait in the room while they found a third room for us. I did a quick inspection and it seemed clean. After they left we found a hair under the pillows, we grabbed a tissue and threw it out, I guess we'll just deal with it. We're getting tired of changing rooms after a travel day and want to not waste any more of our day. Side note, I don't know why hotels keep carpets in their rooms when they have plank flooring, the carpets just end up getting stained and then feel dirty even if they are clean. Picture is the stain on our carpet in our current room. Our first stay at an Ascott hotel is not off to a good first impression. *update: The front line staff, especially Praveen I believe was his name, went above and beyond to try to make our stay as pleasant as possible. They comped us breakfast for our inconveniences trying to make things right. The breakfast crew put out an excellent and elevated breakfast which we thoroughly enjoyed. Room layout is a bit odd with the sink being outside of the toilet and shower, and could use another spot to lay your luggage for opening up off the floor. Our room was quiet and we slept well, other than a couple of inconsiderate families talking loudly in the hall at their friends rooms while letting their kids run around in the halls, until someone opened their door and scolded them. Once at 11pm, and again at 8am. We thought about extending our stay another night because of the service we received, however the price was higher then we were willing to commit to for the room again, and decided to get close to the train for our morning departure, so we moved to Crowne Plaza. The location of the hotel is decent too, we walked all over old George town. There is a free bus located by the road when you get off the ferry, that takes you fairly close to the hotel. The hotel also has a free shuttle service that we never utilized.
