Edit: They are NOT "continuing to support my musical journey" because of their poor training of staff and management. Vocal lesson with Ms Mimi was wonderful. She is warm and encouraging. I learned about my range and the notes within it, we did many interesting excercises to do with posture, breathing, pitch matching etc. We also covered vocal dynamics and how increasing or decreasing volume does not equate shifting notes. Overall, her class was fun, informative and encouraging. In terms of HMC’s admin, I do believe they have room for improvement. I appreciate HMC’s parking guide for customers. Directions to a parking structure nearby helps us save time however, when asked how much the parking structure charges they didn’t know and were unresponsive to suggestions to include the price in the pdf for future customers. Furthermore, when prompted for booking future lessons on the day, they failed to mention the 1-month extra deposit fees until the next day when prompted again and did not suggest other alternatives like installments; would be good if lessons were accessible to people who are in the early stages of their careers. They did not even answer me when I said I could not afford paying 1 month extra deposit fees. Just like that they lost a customer.

Ms Cornie is an outstanding vocal teacher 🤩. She can easily identify the strengths/weaknesses of each student's voice and give guidance accordingly. After having attended the class for 6-7 months, I have greater understanding in singing - able to project my voice correctly, breathe correctly and have better articulation. Perhaps sing more sweetly too 😜! I enjoyed every lesson at Homestead 🎶💞.

My first impression of the centre was that people were really friendly. They were not squinting with judgmental faces when I wanted to take up Gu Zheng. The fee is reasonable and affordable. Additionally my teachers are really nice and they know what they're doing (I'm taking Gu Zheng and Vocal). I would really recommend Homested Music Centre if you're looking for classes like Piano, guitar, violin and many others.

Highly recommend this studio as my singing teacher, Cornie is very good in teaching all the singing skills and also give us opportunity to perform ourselves every year end as a wrap up of what we have learned throughout a year.

Teachers are very professional and responsible, staffs are very friendly and helpful. I've improved my singing tremendously, strongly recommended.

The teachers is very patient and nice. A good place to learn music, Environment also very nice. Recommend!! Recommend!!

Excellent teaching from Teacher Carson, He is very patient, experienced and always willing to spend more time with student. Best !!
